MOUNTAIN is a project that Mariëlle Videler created for the Amsterdam International Community School (AICS). At the invitation of Theater Artemis and Design Museum 's-Hertogenbosch she slept in the library of the school for three nights and carried out various, small solo and larger collaborative actions. She placed a huge banner, MOUNTAIN, on the facade of the school, diagonally across the name of the school. On the third day, she formed a river from top to bottom through the building together with 500 students dressed in blue. Everyone held a cup in their hand. The water, which was led from a tap in the basement via a long garden hose to the top floor, followed its way back from cup to cup. To water all the plants of the school, which Videler had collected downstairs in the hall. During the project she wore a copy she made of a Greenlandic anorak from the project Blinded Hunt to the mountain Uummannaq, Greenland. The title MOUNTAIN refers to the idea 'Mountain is School and School is Mountain'.
